MOSES NEEDS A NEW HOME....

Moses is from our April 2008 litter, his family contacted us to find a new home for him... below are the information provided by his owners...his current family is not asking anything monetary for Moses, they just want a good family for him. If you are interested, please email Emily: knightcap1178@aol.com

Maila, people should know that he is a wonderful dog and they'll wonder why we're giving him up.  We ended up having two children who have extremely high needs and, of course, they take priority.  Otherwise, we would never consider giving up this amazing dog.  We simply don't have the time, the money or the energy to give him what he needs considering our current circumstances.  When you allowed us to adopt him, we never could have anticipated that things would turn out this way.  Here are some recent pics as well as his positive and negative stats.

Quirks: Cruises kitchen counters if food is left out.  Only during times when he hasn’t had enough exercise or mental stimulation he will chew on things like towels or kids’ toys.  If he becomes too bored he might dig in the yard for moles or will bark over and over at squirrels.

***When given the proper amount of stimulation, he does not do these things, it’s our fault that due to current circumstances, we can’t give him what he needs and he does these things out of boredom.***

Positives: Protective of his people (will bark at strangers until introduced), very gentle with children and babies, very playful and will befriend you instantly when he sees his owners trust you, trains easily (very intelligent), many trainers have recommended he enter agility contests and has always been at the top of his class in dog training. Extremely loving and wonderful to cuddle with, he has been socialized since he was a pup and gets along well with other dogs and also loves meeting new people – does well at parks or dog parks.  He doesn’t beg for family food, respects the commands, “off” and “leave it”. Has never been aggressive and has never nipped or bitten anyone. Comes when called or when you ring a cow bell,  lays on his bed when given the command, “lie down”, knows basic commands like “sit”, “stay”, “lie down”, “shake” and is good on a leash, adores walks.  Loves water and will swim out to fetch objects.  Loves snow.  Potty trained and has never had an accident.  Is usually the most well behaved and most impressive dog at the dog park!  All visitors end up loving Moses! His family will have a very difficult time parting with him.
